As challenges go, the last two years have been significant for us all - and as you can imagine, vulnerable children in Kenya have been hit even harder. So, I am reaching out to give the kids some much-needed support. It's been too long since I've walked the dusty roads of Kikima, but that doesn't stop me from walking. I ask that you support me as I walk to raise funds for the orphaned and impoverished children of the Mbooni district. On May 14th I plan to walk 42km - the length of a marathon - starting at 7:00 AM in Burlington and heading towards Toronto. I'll be tweeting @EricRWalters to share where I am on the journey. Please feel free to join me if you are nearby!
As a thank you for your donation, you will receive a personalized thank you from the children at Creation of Hope.
On May 14, 2022 (rain date May 15) Eric will be walking 42km - the length of a marathon - to raise funds for Creation of Hope in Kikima, Kenya.
Creation of Hope offers support, a home, and access to education for orphans and vulnerable children. Ruth Kyatha established a relationship with Eric Walters who advocated for the project in Canada. What started as the purchase of a few blankets has since grown into support for hundreds of children.
